What is a wash on cutoff date?

Configuration of the wash at the cut-off date for blocks and allotments

To ensure that optional/booked allotments do not unnecessarily influence your availability and to ultimately optimise your occupancy, you can configure the wash at cutoff date for your booking or individual room blocks of your booking in customice. 

To do so, open the detail view of your booking to setup global settings for the wash for all blocks of this booking, or switch to the detail view of the respective block within the booking in the TAB Blocks.

As soon as you select the wash type "cutoff", a field appears where you can set "Cutoff days in advance" and thus the cutoff date. 

This defines the number of days before the start of the block/allotment on which 100% of the unreserved rooms are removed from the block. This means that the block size is reduced to the number of actual room reservations - in extreme cases, empty blocks, i.e. blocks that have not been called up at all, are cancelled. The system handles any existing optional allotments/blocks in the same way as already confirmed blocks of a booking.
