Different roles and their functions
Admin Meeting & Event Sales (Admin)
This user corresponds to the property admin for meetings. He can administer and view all settings of the configurator. Create new rooms, services and assign and design them accordingly. The necessary rates can be maintained and changed.
Document and email templates, as well as tags to restrict the filtered services can also be changed in this role.
The admin meeting & event sales has all rights to book, change and edit meetings - i.e. to perform and accompany all steps required in the process.
Admin Group Sales (Admin Group)
This user corresponds to the property admin for group bookings with a somewhat more limited menu navigation compared to the user for meetings. He can administer and view all settings of the configurator. Create new rooms and services and assign and design them accordingly. The necessary rates can be maintained and changed.
Document and email templates, as well as tags to restrict the filtered services can also be changed in this role.
The admin group sales has all rights to create group bookings, book, change and edit group quotas - i.e. to perform and accompany all steps required in the customice groups process.
Employee Event Sales (User)
This user is the classic event sales employee who is supposed to work with the given system without being able to influence the basic behavior of the backend or the configurator.
The event sales employee therefore has all rights to book, offer, change and edit, execute (function) and post-process meetings.
Employee Group Sales (User Group)
This user is a pure group sales employee who only makes group bookings and creates, offers, executes and post-processes group quotas. He should work with the given system without being able to influence the basic behavior of the backend or, if applicable, the configurator.
Functions User (Functions)
Functions users are the pure end users of the digital functions in customice, the activities. This user group only sees the menu item activities for controlling the provision of services booked to meetings. A function user can still be specialized on individual service types, then he is for example only responsible for functions in the setup and equipment area and sees only these activities in his worklist. Other users are assigned to the catering area, for example, and are only assigned and shown these tasks.
Combination of user roles
User roles can be combined. Currently, only the combination of functions user with the user or user group is a useful combination. Otherwise the admin contains all functions of the admin group, both admins contain all functions of the respective user / user group and the management view of the tasks of the functions user.
FUP: customice will further expand and refine its user roles in the future, for example a pure view user is planned, which can view meetings and schedules but not change them.
