Folio Routing

Compare apaleo functionallity

Folio routing can be set with the creation of the first block of a booking, on the booking detail or on any block of a booking. Please note, where ever you make changes it always affects the whole booking because folio routing happens on (group) booking level. Additionally, routings can be stored multiple times with a validity period.

If "GROUP Folio active" is not set, there is no special folio routing. I.e. all services are posted in the folio of each single reservation. All reservations are then billed individually, or services have to be moved manually to other folios for billing.

If the checkmark is set, further configuration can be made as to which services should now be posted to the central group folio of the booking.

Note: the central group folio is automatically created in apaleo and always exists at a booking.

This assignment is possible based on

• Service type
• Sub account 

If the service types exists in apaleo, the routing is done directly through the service type. If a service type is customice specific, all services of this type will be set as individual service routing in apaleo.

When routing via sub accounts, all services that are accounted to a specific sub account are routed accordingly.

If a routing is changed, the corresponding rule in apaleo will be deleted. If rules are deleted in apaleo they will also be removed in customice once the systems are synchronized with the blue sync icon. (There's no weebhook yet in apaleo which would enable customice to get the changes automatically)

Already made postings are not affected by the change of a routing rule.

Default Routing

Together with customice support a default routing scenario can be defined.

E.g. if it's needed, that accomodation and taxes accrue centrally and all extras remain on the customer folios, this can be configured as default for above mask. This means that if someone sets the checkmark "GROUP Folio active", "accomodation" and "taxes" are automatically selected as service types for routing.

Note: Accomodation services are routed if the service type "accomodation" is selected for routing.
