Corporate Codes for Blocks

Overview

Corporate Codes enable the use of corporate rates for blocks. When a block is created using a corporate rate, the corresponding Corporate Code is stored with the block and automatically passed to apaleo during every pickup.

Corporate Codes are managed directly in apaleo.

In apaleo, you can:

• Create companies
• Create corporate rates
• Assign Corporate Codes and link them to the corresponding rates

Configuration in customice

When creating or editing a block, the Corporate code field is available.

If the selected rate is linked to a Corporate Code, the code is automatically stored with the block.

The Corporate Code can be viewed or edited if necessary.

How it works

Corporate Codes act as an authorization mechanism for corporate rates.

During a standard booking, corporate rates are not available unless a valid Corporate Code is provided. By passing the correct code, apaleo recognizes that the booking belongs to the associated company and allows the corresponding corporate rate to be used.

When a block is created using a corporate rate:

• the Corporate Code is stored with the block,
• it remains associated with the block for its entire lifetime,
• and it is automatically sent to apaleo with every pickup.

This ensures that all reservations created from the block are booked using the correct corporate rate.

Note

Corporate Codes are only required for corporate rates. They are not needed for standard public rates.
