Rate Plan Services with Availability Settings – customice

In customice, you can now use rate plan services with specific availability settings. These settings must first be configured in Apaleo and are then synchronized with customice.

Availability Settings

1. Services on Specific Weekdays

If a service is only valid on certain days (e.g., a weekend special for Saturday and Sunday), it will only be booked for the specified weekdays. Example:

Booking period: February 2–9, 2025 (Sun–Sun)
Service valid for: Saturday and Sunday
Template creation: February 2 (Sun) and February 8 (Sat)
For a next-day service: February 8 (Sat) and February 9 (Sun)

2. Services “on Arrival”

A service with the “on arrival” restriction is created on the relevant arrival days. Example:

Booking period: February 2–9, 2025 (Sun–Sun)
Valid every day → Templates created for February 2–8
For a next-day service → Templates created for February 3–9

How is the service booked?
The service is not automatically included in the price but is only charged or adjusted when the booking is actually checked in (e.g., via pick-up).

3. Services “on Departure”

A service with the “on departure” restriction is handled similarly to the arrival service:

Booking period: February 2–9, 2025 (Sun–Sun)
Valid every day → Templates created for February 2–8
For a next-day service → Templates created for February 3–9

How is the service booked?

The service is only applied when the guest actually checks out.
If “included”, it is part of the total price but only relevant at check-out.
If “additional”, the amount is charged separately.

4. Combination of “on Arrival” or “on Departure” with Specific Days

Here, services are only created on specific days and in combination with an arrival or departure condition. Example:

Booking period: February 2–9, 2025 (Sun–Sun)
Service “on arrival,” valid only on weekends → Templates created for February 2 (Sun) and February 8 (Sat)
For a next-day service → Templates created for February 8 (Sat) and February 9 (Sun)

Price Calculation and Display

On pick-up, the price is adjusted for the actual arrival day and sent to Apaleo.
“Included” services affect the base price and possibly city taxes.
“Additional” services are charged separately.
