How do I create flat rates?

Creating a service with sub-services ("Child Service") using the example of flat rates

Flat rates (Pauschalen) are service types. Service with sub-services. The important thing here is that sub-services, in case of doubt, have different VAT rates and they will be calculated correctly. If a flat rate was only 1 service, it would have only one VAT rate and the invoice would be wrong. This is why we need sub-services for flat rates, these are also called child services.

Navigate to the menu item "Service types and create a flat rate of your choice via the + button.

Click on the + button and create your flat rate.

In the next step, navigate to the "Services" tab in the flat rate. This is where the child services are created. These must have been created in Apaleo beforehand. The amount of the flat rate must match the sum of the child services.

Set the filter to the service type (e.g. setup, catering, equipment or other service you defined before) you want to add, or if you are unsure to "all".

Also make sure that the prices of the child services are the right ones.

We have seen at the beginning, our package has a price of 36 EUR.
