Creation of event rooms
Event rooms are created in apaleo as "meeting room" and synchronized according to customice. The manual creation of a room is only necessary when creating combination rooms. Please note in this context that combination rooms have to be configured exclusively in customice - all partial rooms have to be created individually in apaleo and stored with rates. Cf. Note: Of course rooms can also be created manually, to connect such a room with apaleo it is necessary to store the correct External ID from apaleo in customice.
Navigate to the menu item Room Categories and first synchronize the event rooms from apaleo via the green Synchronize button.
Now you can add a new room via the + button or configure existing rooms accordingly.
Then fill in at least all mandatory fields as shown in the screenshot below.
Note that in the apaleo context no prices are maintained - the default price should generally not be used here, it is reserved for special usage scenarios, which you should definitely coordinate with your project contact or customice support!
You can leave out the sorting for the time being or number the rooms according to the order you want.
U can add pictures already.
Via the buttons "update" and "back" you save and can create further rooms. Normally, the flags "consider number of guests in configurator", "synchronize availability with PMS" and "synchronize rate with PMS" have to be set to ensure the behavior coordinated with apaleo.
