Creation of combination rooms
Combination rooms are only created in customice to avoid duplicate availabilities. I.e. in the respective PMS, the individual sub-rooms are created as meeting rooms in the normal way and equipped with corresponding rates.
Customice then combines the availabilities in the combination room(s) in which the individual basic rooms are included.
When a booking is made, all individual rooms are then also booked individually in the PMS, all services at the customice combination room are booked in the PMS to the first room - the further reservation(s) of the individual rooms remain without services.
The individual rooms are simply created in customice like synchronized rooms or automatically synchronized and configured accordingly.
Combination room customice
Combination rooms are created in customice, (cf Wie lege ich Veranstaltungsräume an?) there is no External ID of an apaleo room stored:
the two flags for synchronization remain empty:
This means that customice is responsible for pricing in this case, the availabilities are determined from the individual availabilities of the subspaces. For this purpose, local rates for each timeslot (if there are individual timeslots) have to be configured and activated:
as well as to deposit prices at the rate.
In order for the system to recognize and treat the subspaces as such, the dependency must be set correctly in the "Room Category" tab:
This is done by the relation "is child room" with which the combination room is now finally set up.
Theoretically, any number of "child rooms" of a room can be created, a combination room can contain any number of rooms.
Partial combinations of combination rooms
A combination of rooms A+B has of course an influence on another possible combination A+B+C. In order to represent this correctly in the system, the combination A+B and theoretically also A+C and B+C must be made known as "is a subset" by relation at the rooms A+B+C. Then the availabilities of the individual rooms are also correctly combined here.
