City Tax

New city taxes can be defined under Property and City Tax

Here you can see all your already defined City Tax with validity date:

A new city tax can be created via Add city tax.

You enter the validity and the tax name; these are mandatory fields. Enter a description since this value can be set and printed even in different languages.

If the box “Include city tax contribution in the rate” is checked, the amount including the city tax is already displayed in the grid. This means you can simply enter the total amount in the grid including all taxes without having to calculate it manually.

Example of the city tax in the price grid of a booking:

In the next step, enter the calculation type, limitation to nights, tax treatment and VAT rate.

Calculation types:

• Percentage of the gross amount
• Percentage of the net amount
• Per room and night
• Per person and night
• Per person and night of the net amount (in increments)
• Per person and night of the gross amount (in increments)

Tax treatment:

• Add taxes to the calculated value
• Calculated value includes taxes

Once all mandatory fields have been entered, you can save the city tax using the button:
