Under Settings you will find the menu item “Email templates”.

For each template, you can individually specify whether it is sent automatically.

Check the “Send automatically” box. Here you can schedule the automatic sending of a “Reminder” mail in advance. To do this, specify how many days before the start of the booking the automatic e-mail should be sent.

If this is not desired, you can also send the email templates manually via “Send message” in a booking.
