Creating time slots

To create time slots, navigate to the Time slots menu item.

First synchronize all time slots from MEWS using the green arrow button and then add new ones using the + button.

Here you can individually adjust the times of already existing time slots.

If you decide to create a time slot overnight, you should also deactivate it in the configurator. This means that this time slot can only be selected in the backend, i.e. only for employees, but not for customers. Customers might not be able to decide if this would be useful or available.

The sorting determines the order of the time slots. Here, for example, morning (1), noon (2) and evening (3) makes sense.

What are Time slots for?

Time slots are needed to offer event rooms at different times of the day in the configurator.

A room can be sold 2 times in one day if it has a morning and an afternoon time slot available. Otherwise, the room would only have one availability and would therefore be booked for the whole day, even though it might only be booked from the morning.

In addition, the time slot "whole day" should always be created.
For example, the morning and afternoon slots overlap for a booking from 11am to 2pm. The "whole"-day time slot must be used here.
