Important: Especially for hotels from the USA, which have different taxes per city or state.
The individual taxes can be found under Property Taxes, which can be synchronized from apaleo to customice using the green “Sync with PMS” button.
The tax “Hotel Occupancy Tax” serves as an example for explanation:
The tax “Hotel Occupancy Tax” is synchronized in the sub-account: “Accomodation Overnight”.
If the check mark “may be subject to other taxes” is active, another tax, e.g.: “City of Austin Occupancy Tax” can be added to the “Hotel Occupancy Tax”. Since the tax “City of Austin Occupancy Tax” is applied to the sub-account “Accommodation Overnight” and the tax “Hotel Occupancy Tax” is booked in the sub-account “Accommodation Overnight”. Here is the “City of Austin Occupancy Tax” for comparison:

Where can I find the tax in a created booking ?
In the block list, the price of a room is shown including tax (121.87 USD)
In the price grid, the price including breakfast and excluding tax is displayed. In this example, USD 19.68 (total amount of taxes) is added to the USD 100. Taxes of USD 0.83 are added to the rate plan service price of USD 10.
The price (USD 10) excluding tax (USD 0.83) is displayed in the booked services (on the block):
All individual taxes are listed again in detail in the booking overview:
The 19.68 from the price grid are listed individually in the overview (6,21 + 0,87 + 12.60 = 19,68).
